    The former friend is a trans woman he ghosted when she didn't fit his political ambition.

    I love how Pete doesn't stop answering the question he gets asked. The vast majority, if not all, of the Democrats will stop answering the question once the interviewer either gets the answer/sound bite they want OR the interviewer see's they won't get anythign close to what they were hoping for.

    Pete just trudges through with the answer and controls the interview.

    Waltz appears to be moving up in veepstakes. Minnesota is not really a swing state but is part of upper Midwest. He is very popular, strong labor ties, rural background, two decades in air national guard. Shows he can be a pit bull when needed.
    Love this interview. He talks about the "horror " of children with full bellies getting education. I hadn't known Minnesota is number three in happiest states and it sure isn't because of the weather.

    He reminds me of Al Gore but a little more straight. He doesn’t excite me but he’s probably appealing to a segment of folks (the “plain oatmeal for me please” crowd)
