    I think Pearl Jam should be on the list at least. 30 plus years going strong and refused to sell out to try to be a mainstay.

    Pearl Jam is one of my favorites from that era. Very soulful rock band. I’ve got Eddie Vedder’s solo ukulele recording and it’s great as well

    I think they are British...great bass player in that band..I saw them live once with the Scottish band Simple Minds

    its great, but how can you beat tom petty? 15 songs in is Mary Janes Last Dance.

    The epitome of simple rock to perfection. Its weird because i never really cared for TP until i listened to it and realized just how many big hits he has.

    Love Tom Petty. My spouse didn't listen to him much growing up. Played some of his stuff and she asked me if Tom was on drugs when he made his music.

    my wife's favorite band...I took her to see them at the Cuthbert ampitheater in Eugene on the river and it was amazing....Heart definitely another good call.
