Also, why is it that every high end exec job on earth requires shit tons of experience.... But when it comes to Presidents people want 'youth' which translates into a lack of experience? I mean, I get not wanting to have people way past their sell by date, but having a breadth of experience when taking on the presidency I think should be viewed positively, not negatively. Seems really odd to me that it's the one job on earth in which people want folks with less experience rather than more.

Trump said he would consider debating Harris and give his reply "soon".

Along with his health care plan, infrastructure plan, Mideast peace plan, his tax return, IQ test and Obama's real birth certificate.

Funny, I've never heard of "Generation Jones", but apparently that's the term for the Boomer/GenX micro-generation of which Obama, Harris, and Walz are all members.

I've actually known some exec jobs that's don't need massive amounts of experience.

I'm not opposed to it if we really like Walz and what he does, but let's think 8 years out if Kamala won two times, then Walz is 68. Maybe it is just longing for Obama to come back after the president's after him. But, yeah, I think we all can agree as we have gotten older we don't have the stamina (giggity) that we used to.

What policy does Trump own on? Which one would Scott Baio care about? Tax breaks for the wealthy?

Trump has run out of shtick. He sounds like Henny Youngman saying, "Take my wife, please." Old stuff, trying to replay outdated greatest hits, everything sounding old and tired and boring.

AND, especially in presidential politics, positive and exciting and new beats dour and pessimistic every time.

I saw Colin Cowherd a month or so ago. Whatever you think of him, he's pretty reasonable. His take on Trump was, "What is so horrible? I travel a lot - planes are full. Restaurants are full. People see pretty content. No crime wave. We are not living in some dystopian nightmare."

Republicans couldn't find an issue to run on so they invented one. The swift boating of Tim Walz.

Wall Street Journal listed all the horrors of the Walz administration:
    Expanded access to abortion
    Tuition free college
    Free school lunch
    Automatic voter registration
Option to sign up for permanent absentee ballots
    Sanctuary for trans people
    Subsidies for electric vehicles
    Expanding renewable energy
    Background checks for gun purchase
    Paid family leave

How come I am seeing lots of commercials during the Olympics TV coverage for Harris but none for Trump?

Because the DNC bought commercial time.

The Trump campaign didn't make a large ad buy until after Harris replaced Biden. I'm sure all the ad spots for the Olympics were sold long ago.
