    I do love Pete Buttigieg.

Obviously Trump can't remember the name of Democrats VP nominee. She picked that man and he's done things no one can believe and he is in trans world and other worlds.

I really would like to know what other worlds Walz is into. I thought Kelly was the astronaut.

I volunteered to work yesterday and wanted a change of scenery and worked in a more rural part of town.

I drove through a trailer park and witnessed a bunch of Trump flags.

Trump is their ticket out of poverty, duh.

    Bold prediction:

If the trend continues and Harris continues to go up in polls, Trump will back out of the race.

The thought of losing again and this time to a black woman will be too much for his huge ego to handle.

Vance will be forced into taking over and it will be a landslide like never before.

Won't happen. He has too many serious criminal trials to face. The only way he gets out of them is by becoming President again. Also, he and his sycophants have invested far too much in cheating this election.

No matter what happens he will declare that he won. See the last election for example.

I wish that MickZagger was correct, but I think you are on point here. They will 100% do illegal shit to try to get into power this year. I fear they will succeed unless they are stopped. And if stopped, they will call out "pOliTiCaL pErSEcUtIoN." They are shitty people who have put America in a shitty situation. Fascists are thr worst of humanity. They are also weird as fuck.

Except this time Biden is in power, unlike last time where it was a transition of political parties. Much harder to get away with

Maybe Biden should agree to pardon Trump in exchange for him pulling out of the race.

Trump is too much of an egomaniac to drop out. Also he loses all of his big money and foreign donors. I don't think he can financially survive dropping out.

He won't drop out. He has 70 election deniers in boards in swing states who will refuse to certify. The hope is to send election to House where Republicans have majority and speaker is election denier or to get Extreme Court to put him in office. He isn't really trying to win votes. He is working on how to be declared winner.

This all exactly. Trump won't drop out. He has too much on the line. His only big lifeline monetarily and to avoid prosecution is to stay in the race. If he doesn't stay in he won't have all that money from his supporters to live off of and he risks the SC being changed/updated and their ruling being changed on his immunity.

It looks like Kamala is going to have the votes to defeat him, but he is laying out the foundation to once again declare the election stolen. He has already screamed from the mountaintops that Biden leaving the race and Kamala ascending to the top of the ticket was a coup, was illegal, and is the Democrats trying to steal the election (Of course it wasn't, it's not and once again, no they aren't).

Like @crandc and @theprunetang said they are planning other illicit ways to cheat and get Trump in office. They are already purging voter rolls and have put in place tougher voting laws. They will seek ways not to count votes, to disappear votes, and sow chaos if Trump doesn't appear to win the swing states.

Trump indeed has election deniers on boards in swing states that will refuse to certify electoral votes for swing states if he is to lose them. They will cry stolen election, make false and meritless claims to bide time, and send it to the SC. The conservative led court, half of who Trump put in office, are fearful of Biden's new reform which will term limit and remove several of them, not to mention hold them responsible with a code of ethics. Also, the immunity ruling will be undone by it.

Biden's package won't get done while he is president. He doesn't have the votes in Congress and maybe not even in Senate. But, the majority of Americans, even republicans, back most of the package.

If Kamala is elected and the Democrats win back the house and keep the Senate, there is much at stake for the conservative SC justices and Trump. They have reason to work together to thwart Kamala and the Democrats.

We have already heard one of them in a secret recording say the liberals cannot win. Gorsuch issued a warning about the reform saying, "Be careful." The conservative justices won't go quietly. They will not sit and allow themselves to be removed by term limits or be under the purview of a new ethics code. They much prefer their unchecked power.

I can see them siding with Trump, and overturning the election to give it to him. Perilous times are ahead.

Thomas and Alito would surely vote to give election to Trump. Gorsuch, who was wrongly thought when nominated to be an institutionailst, probably. Three Democratic appointees would uphold election. Barrett has shown rare independence. Roberts was appointed as reward for his fight against voting rights. Barrett, Roberts, Kavanaugh all involved in Bush v Gore on Bush side.
Whether American democracy survives could be decided by Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett. Scary thought.
