<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>31 teams showed up for Virginia LB Ahmad Brooks' Pro Day Thursday, but 49ers coach Mike Nolan was the only head coach in attendance.Brooks should be the first and perhaps only pick in the supplemental NFL draft. Brooks got down to 260 pounds for the workout, ran a 4.68 forty, and benched 225 pounds 19 times. Ah, sweet measurables. He reportedly could cost a second or third-round pick.</div>

Actually the Patriots were the only team not to go to his workout. Al Groh told Belichick "Don't waste your time."

Raiders | Team attends Brooks workoutFri, 23 Jun 2006 06:15:16 -0700Matt Maiocco, of the San Francisco Press Democrat, reports the Oakland Raiders attended the workout of supplemental draft entry LB Ahmad Brooks Thursday, June 22.
