He’s a free agent. There is no re-draft. If someone wants to sign him they are free to do so. This is what the players fought for, free agency.
When you cant get signed in the NBA there are plenty of viable overseas options. Not something that can be said for the NFL because American Football is a sport that is really only played and popular in NA. This concludes my explanation of why Kaepernick will never play professional football again. Unless he signs with Wolverhampton...
He'll be putting out these videos until his 50. I'm a 49er fan, and can tell you, he really regressed throughout his career. He was benched before he kneeled due to not playing well. I don't begrudge him for kneeling, but his antics after the fact are stupid. He held a "workout" for scouts then changed the venue at the last hour so they would show up at the wrong place. He's also compared playing in the NFL to slavery. So I guess he wants to enslave himself.
Despite living in the Bay Area for 3 decades now, I barely follow the NFL. Years back a well to do friend of mine extended a standing invite to attend 9er games fully catered at their luxery box during the Kaepernick era. I know CK had some good seasons, but I sure didn't see them in the 3 or so games I attended. Dude couldn't hit wide open check downs repeatedly burying fastballs at the receiver's feet. Regardless of the nobility of the cause he's fighting for, I wouldn't want a QB who can't complete basic short swing passes leading my Ducks. I don't think the NFL froze him out, I think he's a very flawed QB and I doubt thats changed in how ever many years it's been since he last played STOMP
That's what it seemed like to me. He got benched and then threw a fit. I think that's with kneeling was about.
Even Stephen A Smith said he thought Colin was more interested in being a Social Justice Warrior than an NFL QB.
Thats incorrect. He started kneeling during the preseason and Blaine Gabbert was never anything but a backup for them while Colin was the well paid face of the franchise. I think Colin cared/cares deeply about police agression agaist black people but he also was a crappy QB. STOMP
OK, well he started the season as a starter, and was benched several games in due to poor play. So he wasn't benched for his kneeling.
When he was first getting heat for kneeling I remember thinking "that's kinda funny cuz he just got benched". And I'm not saying he doesn't care about police aggression against black people. I'm sure he does. I could be wrong but that's just how I remember it.
