I can’t even imagine not listening to Ranger games without Sam. They better not hire some fucking idiot woman.

I trust in Dolan, not to go to woke movement like the Devils and Islanders did ruining their entire broadcast.

Good for Sam, what a great career. He will be missed by diehard Rangers fans, for a lot of us he is all we know calling games. Odds are Kenny Albert takes over; he'll be 57 in February.

Thats too bad but it's time. He had an amazing run and had some awesome calls over the years. Kenny Albert would be a great fit.

Yeah, I was just thinking Albert probably gonna be the guy. He’s pretty good.

That sucks, but if it's Albert that steps in it will be ok.

Yeah, I thought about him but Howie has had a lot of health problems.

Longshot but what about Don LaGreca? He's good on the radio broadcasts.

I think it’s pretty good odds Kenny will move to the television side. Sam will be missed after this season but they will be in good hands. Kenny is excellent at this.

Dont throw out the possibility of Brendan burke who Dolan just signed to a long term contract with msg moving over to do ranger games. similar to how rose left after doing ranger games to the piles. Dolan controls all announcers. I think Kenny is the favorite but wonder with everything on his plate if he is spread too thin

LaGreca's a cool dude but he's more of radio fill-in type who's better as a talk show host. Don't like Burke at all. I think you pretty mich have to go with Albert if he'll do it. I also wouldn't be surprised if Sam gets a banner of some sort in the rafters.
