US and EU officially declared Russia responsible. Biden directly blamed Russia, on camera, during a press conference. Other lying scumbags like Blinken and Brennan did publicly as well.
These people don't remember any of the lies that are told, which I think is one of the big differences between them and people like us. Ukraine had an incentive to blow up the pipeline. But so did the US. Biden openly stated that if they invaded, the pipeline would not become operational. And when asked what he meant by that he just said "trust me". Seymore Hirsch, one of the last true journalists said it was the US underwater demolitions team and wrote a piece on it. I tend to believe that over this Ukraine story, but who knows. I just know the Russians didn't blow up their own pipeline, and the US media mindlessly repeated government lies, as per usual.
Same, thats why I’m so curious what story we’ll be fed, or what the justification will be. I’m almost excited to see how ridiculous it is. This is their job. People criticize places like Russia and China for propagandizing their citizens while watching state run media on American television.
You guys should probably read the article. "The subsea explosions in September 2022 took out three of the four Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines transporting gas from Russia to Germany and sent geopolitical shockwaves around the world. There are continuing unanswered questions about who was responsible and fingers pointed variously at Russia, Ukraine, the U.S. and the U.K."
The video in your post was right after the attack, when everyone was pointing fingers at the other guy. Months ago, there was a report that the boat used in the pipeline attack was identified and found. The boat had been rented by Ukrainians. Nothing since then about it untill this arrest warrant. Believe it was Sweden, Denmark or Finland that figured out who did it. But I can not remember which country did.
You guys do realize that one or more of these “finger pointing” countries is the actual culprit, right? What does that say about their finger pointing?
Engage your basic common sense. How did Russia benefit from blowing up the pipeline? Now ask the question of the US.
View Discretion advised on this one. It's disgusting. These men were sent on a suicide mission. I don't know what the strategy of this was or if the Ukrainian leadership is just crazy. But they are being cut off and picked apart now. But worse, worse, the retaliation from Russia to come...
Not to parse it too finely but I did say I hadn't heard of any evidence when all the accusations/speculation were being bandied about...
Feel free to call bs on this post. This is only my opinion. We may never know the evidence behind the arrest warrant for the Ukrainian. Reason. How the evidence was obtained is secret. My guess is they do not want to reveal the militarys surveillance capabilities of that area.
So now Western governments are blaming Ukraine for blowing up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. After initially illogically claiming that Russia blew up their own pipeline. Now the story is the CIA learned about the plan and told Ukraine not to do it, but they went ahead and did it anyway. And the NATO decided to cover up for them, and now all of a sudden they want to arrest those involved? Does this narrative make a lick of sense to anyone? I sure as hell does not to me.
This pretty much establishes that Ukraine blew up Nordstream. What the story doesn't mention (why?) is that both Nordstream 1 and 2 had already been shut down at that time. They also try to act like there was a lot of damage to German and European economies, saying gas prices surged after the explosion. Gas prices did rise 14 % at that time, but they had already TRIPLED after russia invaded Ukraine. It's also odd that the writer chose to highlight drinking at a planning meeting. And it's odd that there was only one writer, usually there is a team on a story like this. Seems to be an agenda here. https://www.wsj.com/world/europe/nord-stream-pipeline-explosion-real-story-da24839c
