Harris to Target Predatory Wall Street Landlords With Four-Year Housing Plan The Democratic nominee is expected to endorse a crackdown on algorithmic price-setting by big landlords and an end to tax breaks for corporate investors that buy up single-family homes. https://www.commondreams.org/news/kamala-harris-housing-plan Since it is an election year, I have to take everything each candidate says, as a bald faced lie. They are simply pandering for votes. So I don't believe Harris will ever do any of this. I would support these measures, on the off chance she really does mean it. But I have watched too many times as politicians buy your vote, then don't deliver on their campaign promises. So I can't be optimistic about the chances that any of this ever happens.
Harris Unveils Sweeping Economic Agenda With New Child Tax Credit, Medical Debt Relief Proposals to lower housing, childcare, and healthcare costs for millions of families are "a welcome step in the right direction," said one advocate. https://www.commondreams.org/news/kamala-harris-child-tax-credit Again. I would support this. But I don't believe it will ever happen. Since campaign promises are so easily broken in America. If by chance she does implement this agenda though. It would start to open the door to belief.
This is nothing to brag about FAMS! I drive a dope new European super car…..am massively in credit card dept and paying a mortgage on a house in a very expensive neighborhood, putting kids thru college as well……..but we don’t water our grass….so we’re saving a bit there!
Crazy thing is….we were a COSTCO family up until this past year. As empty nesters, just didn’t need the amount of stuff we used to.
21 years old car that sounds acceptable, but it puts you into the 2000s and everyone knows the golden age for automobiles was the 1990s, when cars all got fuel injection but were still lightweight. My "daily driver" is 31 years old. I am starting to find it a bit harder to get in and out of it given that it is pretty low. Paint is also showing it's age, it lives outside and my wife, when she has to drive it apologizes to people that she has to drive her husband's junker... Still drives great, but no longer looks that great
I've never been a Costco member but my son is and his house is very near a Costco so I just give him garden veggies, fruit and eggs and he gives me coffee and rice and stuff I like from there...I call it paying Dad tax. I could get hooked on their hot dogs but I've only had them a couple of times. Fortunately, they are a long drive from my place.
Tim Walz seen eating hot dogs in the Costco parking lot, giving the buns to the homeless! Do I need to green font this?
I probably go to Costco once a year to shop with wife. If she's lucky. There is one a couple miles from us, so I do get to get up early, and hit their filling station.
