Lob passes / alley-oops happen all the time. What the hell are you talking about?

no 3 point ally-oops !! The game would change dramatically. Nobody would ever shoot the ball. Bad passes would constantly spray into the crowd. The beer vendors would have to wear helmets. The cheerleaders would have black eyes. Exploding nacho carnage would be a regular occurrence.

the game would become oopers & oopsies

    No 3pt alley-Oops

Get rid of free throws, speed up the game.

The player fouled gets 1 point, and the ball, restart clock.

You sound like the NCAA on why they banned dunks until 1976.

rim police are the worst. I'd lift the some of the goaltending rules. Any athlete that can reach over 10 feet deserves to show off more skills.

I believe if a player makes a fantastic pass to another player and they are fouled on the shot.....if they make BOTH free throws, the aforementioned player who made the pass should be credited with an assist.

And put little round trampolines at various spots on the court to add some flair?

Is this a joke? Are people really asking if it’s a 2 or 3? Look at all the times guys are running full speed as the clock is winding down and take off from behind the line and float forward before the release. No different. It’s where the feet are when you leave the ground, not when you release.

Mike made it into the Athletic’s 40 under 40 in the NBA:

Mike Schmitz, 34, Portland Trail Blazersassistant general manager

Schmitz might be the only NBA front office member who took a smaller public profile by joining a team. He spent nearly a decade as one part of the duo that helped build DraftExpress from an independent site to one that took him to Yahoo! and then ESPN. He jumped straight from TV to the Blazers, where he is a vital part of their scouting operation.

“(I) always liked his eye for talent,” Blazers GM Joe Cronin said in 2022. “His motor was always super impressive. Just at every game all across the world, just constantly in the gym. And that’s so important to have that love and passion for the game. Scouting can be really difficult sometimes. It’s a ton of travel, it’s long days, and he just had this energy that I thought was really intriguing.”

The "runner 3" is my favorite shot when playing h-o-r-s-e with my nephews. They can never replicate it.

Man, the Suns just cut Nas. There was a player who I thought would thrive in the NBA.

Sorry to hear that. Always will like Nas. I assume someone will pick him up. The Suns are in a weird spot as an organization imho. They WAY underperformed last year and have no dealable assets.
