Yeah, but I remember one time he wore a tan suit. So, clearly my only choice is to hate him.

    Walz speaking tonight, also Pelosi.

Not sure rest of schedule except Harris tomorrow. Adam Kinzinger planned.

Democratic royalty not yet heard from: Gretchen Whitmer, Gavin Newsom, Bill Clinton, Stacy Abrams, Joel Shapiro, Hakeem Jeffries.

Whoever had the idea of roll call dance party deserves a raise. Morning news showed split screen of Republican roll call, woman with droning voice repeating pursuant to rule XYZ state of blank votes for Trump over and over with dancing to music of many decades and genres, accompanied by snippets of state history. Everyone wants to join the cool kids who are having fun.

    Pelosi tonight.

Republicans reportedly upset protests have been largely orderly with only handful of arrests and no violence. They really wanted a replay of Chicago 1968.

They should just cancel tonight. Can’t get any higher coming off the Obamas…… Ride that wave until November.

I still have to remind myself that the RNC had Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan unironically.

Sure ... I just heard Joe say multiple times on Monday that not voting for Kamala meant the end of democracy, but ok!

How many times have we heard a vote for Donnie will be the end of democracy ... that isn't fear mongering? Yes I'll agree that Trump is a despicable human being, and maybe Kamala will prove me wrong and actually have a decent intelligent thought that she is able to convey when not reading off a teleprompter, but these conventions is all just a bunch of pomp and circumstance nonsense meant to rally up both sides.

you don't have to buy into fear mongering...that's why we develop bullshit filters as we grow up. I see people as traffic lights...green, yellow and red....doesn't matter what the backdrop is. The Harris Walz campaign is a bright green light from my view. You're welcome to your own. I'm not selling anything, I just operate from my own powers of observation. Trump is a red light like I've never seen before....as I said...false equivalency to consider them equally bad intentioned. On the same token, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are green lights for me...people with a sense of integrity and truth. The worst possible candidate in American history is on the ballot. This is a fact and nobody should be watering his bullshit down. Of course the convention is to rally spirits unless it's the GOP...then it's to prophesize doom, hate and failure. This election is a stark contrast in common decency and empathy. Donnie tried to end democracy on Jan 6th and failed miserably to his own disgrace..history is not on Trump's side

Well Trump has suggested terminating parts of the constitution, told his followers they won't have to vote again if he gets elected and talks about other dictators like they're his own personal heroes. He already tried to over throw the peaceful transfer of power four years ago.

He said safeguarding democracy is on the ballot and he's right....Trump didn't honor the transfer of power peacefully when Joe beat him...there's your first clue...Obama didn't do that to Trump when he beat Hillary....double standard much? It's pretty clear to anyone who isn't filled with conservative rage. Lying and cheating to maintain power are not part of the democratic process. At least Nixon had the decency to resign and shut the fuck up when he did get caught. The entire Jan 6th witness pool was composed of republicans horrified at Trump's response to the insurrection...how do you explain that away as a partisan plot? More Republicans have backed Harris than has ever happened in American history. Somewhere John McCain is smiling in his grave.

Well, when you promise that voting will no longer be necessary if you win people might take that as a threat to democracy.

Also, the support of insurrectionists is kind of concerning...
