Funny how he thinks Mikes energy is intriguing? Almost like he was envious. Hope Joe has enough energy to propel his rebuild?

What's the track record for blue chip recruits who greatly underwhelm in college, go pro immediately, and slide way down the draft board? It can't be good.

We already have plenty of players that aren't good enough to be NBA rotation players.

It could be a sneaky way to show the fan base they are still considering “talent” while ultimately playing capture the Flagg. By pulling at our heartstrings and making us fans think they are being proactive in the free agent market, as we all know we love our Blazer players no matter what when they don the PDX colors.

His play was so inconsistent from day one. But very consistent with injuries.

No but I would not be annoyed if they did but my guess is a borderline contender will take a chance on him hoping maybe they can "fix" him and he can be a solid role player.

Yeah I think the only way to fix him now would be to give him adamantium or put him in bubble wrap and let him waive some towels. We have not had a fierce towel waved in quite some time. Could HE be that guy? I tingle with excitement.

It was like clockwork with that dude….he’d have a fantastic game and then you could almost count on him sitting for 2 weeks immediately after. Was hoping he’d pan out for us too.

The Suns owner ate 22 million dollars. Cronin played that team like a fiddle.

Not sure? They stretched his 22 million. Seems like they don't think he will get picked up?
Not exactly sure how that works? If he gets picked up off waivers do they still pay him?

Funny thing about Nas: the player most of us wanted had gone a couple of picks earlier. That player? Matisse Thybulle.

Another funny thing about Nas: he's been waived while second-round pick Oso Ighodaro has been kept. Whom we could have taken if we hadn't JUST DUMPED OUR SECOND ROUND PICKS

I don't think any team would pick Little up off waivers. IIRC, that team would have to assume the full contract and nobody will pay Little that much after his last season and his injury history. But yeah, I believe if a team did pick him up off waivers, the Suns would be off the hook for his contract

The Suns utilized a 7 year stretch provision. They will pay Little 3.1M/year thru 2030-31. This stretch will save the Suns around 40M in tax over the next 2 seasons. I'm not exactly clear on what happens if Little is signed for a minimum deal. It used to be that 50% of what he signed for would be deducted from what the previous contract paid, including a stretch. I'm not sure if the new CBA contains that relief. I don't believe the cap-charge against the Suns would change

Really gets murky if he gets picked up on a minimum deal which I totally expect. Somebody will give him a spot on a roster.

Anybody remember Cliff Alexander? National HS player of the year candidate, ended up playing all of 8 games in the NBA?

Locked on Suns are spinning Little's waiver. They said nothing about about the Nas cut avoids 40m in future luxury tax penalties. Instead, it "opens up a roster spot".

Now Suns fans are deliberating over the next star player Phoenix will add to their collection.

One Suns fan attempted to use their brain, and suggested trading Bradley Beal's supermax for multiple options. But he/she was heckled by fan mates after implying hope, that the Suns can remove themselves of the Bradley Beal boat anchor.

It's not too murky IIRC. If a team picks up Nas Phoenix is still on the hook for everything they owe him and they definitely will retain the exact same dead cap space regardless of if Nas signs elsewhere and for how much he signs.

Is that a trick question or a rhetorical question?
