20% of the people voting in the Indiana Republican primary were democrats? Sounds like a good excuse, but please provide proof of this. sounds like another attempt to deflect. I am surprised you didn't just call them RHINO's and not real MAGA's, I mean republicans.

As much as I didn't like the Bush administration it was about a million times better than the Trump disaster.

Trump guys, you order that stuff off the infomercial? If so, would you share some pics of your haul?

And nothing will be done about it either.

They were also probably photos taken by the people who are allowed to take it. But people who are graspin' at straws never really put much critical thinking in to what they're saying.

I think it’s grasping at straws trying to make this into anything at all. Just another silly overblown scandal that won’t garner any attention. Throwing more dogshit at a wall to see what sticks.

People are allowed to call out hypocrisy with examples. Saying “whataboutism” is just you admitting you don’t like pushback. It’s a meaningless term.

(the text for those who just want the words)

MAGA is trying to say the family authorized these photos and the campaign stunt so it’s okay. That’s false and a lie. There was an official photographer there from Arlington. The campaign wanted their guys. Arlington does that to make sure other families aren’t caught up against their wishes. That’s on top of it being a campaign staffer which is literally against Federal law. They were told that and then assaulted an Army official when she wouldn’t budge. Do you see that grave on the left? Major Navas. His family didn’t get to approve his grave being included in Trump’s stunt. You see that family visiting their loved one way in the back? They didn’t get to approve being included in this ridiculous smiling picture as they mourned. That’s why they have the rules and official photographers. Because this family doesn’t get to over rule the others and use their families for this campaign stunt. Not even for that fucking loser and former failed President Trump.

Second important point. This was not an official event. This was arranged by two of the 13 families as a private wreath laying. They invited Trump because they are huge supporters. That’s their right. Every day there are unofficial wreath layings by groups, families and nonprofits. The POTUS and VPOTUS don’t attend. The family can do that. They can’t over rule the law. They can’t take away the rights of the other hundreds of families with loved ones in Section 60. Their statement is meaningless. Trump broke the law and used our most hallowed ground as a campaign stunt.

Also, where’s the context? Where’s your evidence of intention? Where is it explicitly shown to be for political motive?

It was posted on social media, otherwise we wouldn't know about it. Everything done on social media is for political motives. Don't act naive.

What is pissing people off (because it certainly pisses me off) is that this is just one more example (in a lifetime chockablock full of examples) where Donald J. Trump thinks that the rules that apply to every other human being do not apply to him....ever. He is "special" and deserves special treatment. C'mon, this is the guy who places himself as on the same level as God, and a cut above Jesus. Sorry, but at my age I'm tired of being forced by the rules and laws of society to toe the line while entitled POS's like Trump stomp on those same rules and laws with impunity (and glee). And fucking EVERYTHING Trump does has a political motivation, which makes your question look remarkably clueless.

I think we all can agree that it was great of Trump to remember those soldiers that died as a result of his botching our withdrawal from Afghanistan, though.

I mean, he closed most of our air bases, notified the Taliban but not our allies, drew down our forces to 2,500 which was half the number of Taliban fighters he released and set a May withdraw date that would have made things worse if Biden hadn't have pushed it back three months.

And Trump gave us the deaths of over a million Americans due in large part to his lies and waffling positions, as well as an attempted insurrection. Not to mention dozens of other negatives.

    No contest.
