Pulled a muscle pushing the cart out of the sand trap. I could not bring myself to call it a sports injury.

Same way I left "Gus" out of the list of football movies. Pure oversight.

You're absolutely right--I should have included it in my list of baseball movies. My bad.

The Predator movies are sport, at least for the Predators.

I like a lot of sports movies but The Natural is my favorite by far.

SPORTS MOVIES I LOVE BUT AREN'T GREAT MOVIES- Varsity Blues, Happy Gilmore, The Program, BASEketball, Blue Chips, Dodgeball

I think MLB went on strike shortly after "Rookie of the Year". Renting out Wrigley Field and hiring real players to make a truly horrible baseball movie, created an irreversible catastrophic reaction within the players union.

hahaha ... I have quite a few friends that love it, but as a Cubs fan it's truly an abomination.

Surviving the Game.... Ice-T defeated Rutger Hauer & Gary Busey. And he accidentally smoked a whiney teenager in the process. Get that man a cigar \o/
