Well, you keep Ayton and Clingan. You might as well keep Williams until you can get value. And because Duop won't bring anything back in a trade you keep him too. Cheap contract and he can play some stretch 4.
If Timelord were healthy...but then again, no. But could he fetch value, if he were to go? It's likely two seconds is the best we can do Still this is my choice over the other two. And you can tell everybody, Rob should be gone It may seem quite simple, once it is done. I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind That I put down in words How I want to trade Robert Williams the third.
Duop is suited to playing backup 4 and Timelord can slot in at the 4 for stretches as well. Keep the bigs...it's a long season
Ayton is the best center we've had since Oden and he's still young. No better guy to practice against for the rookie at this point. Clingan hasn't shown he can play big minutes in the league yet. Ayton is in my view the best player on the roster right now. I know some folks want to lose but I'm not interested in tanking.
Ayton is amazing in theory, but just seems to lack "it". He's too passive. Which is why we're probably stuck with him, as I just can't see anyone wanting him (except maybe the Pelicans for Brandon Ingram, but I'd rather keep Ayton in that instance).
He's not a better defender than Williams. Or three point shooter than Reath. He's certainly PAID more than the others.
Maybe.... But Ayton is the best All-Around C we have. Ayton is not a perfect player. But he is better than most are giving him credit for. He's a starting quality player. He's a top 20 C in the league
