Ok, I spent $40 to buy this game download, then download and install it for about 5 hours just for it to tell me that:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>This application has fialed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.</div> I reinstalled it and it still doesnt work. Anyone know whats wrong?
SAME fucking thing happened to me. Here's what I did:1.) Download d3dx9_27.dll from this website http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_272.) Go to "Search" off of your Start menu.3.) Type in "system32".4.) Open the system32 folder.5.) After unzipping the d3dx9_27.dll file, move it from where you unzipped it INTO the system32 folder.6.) Retry playing NFL Head Coach. It should work.BUT...7.) Mine didn't. It told me I needed the latest version of DirectX. So I went to www.microsoft.com/directx/ to download it.8.) Go through all the verification to download the latest DirectX.9.) Install them.10.) Retry playing NFL Head Coach. Worked for me. Hope this helps.
