Cole coasting up 1-0 and with one out intentionally walks devers! WTF. Of course a walk and 2 hits later the Red Sox now lead 3-1. Even if devers hit a he there it tied at one. The Yankees outsmarted themselves with that maneuver for no reason

Cole mentally self destructing on the mound after that stupid IW

Considering Devers' record vs Cole, there's no way Boone should have let him pitch to him...shoulda called on that submarine lefty who Devers looks absolutely helpless against.

Vertigo also cost us a run by testing Boston's RFer who is noted for his defense, especially his arm.

Now Vertigo nonchalantly allows the runner on 1B to tag and reach 2B on a fly ball...he needs to be benched, period, and let go after the season, period. (now I can see why Boston let him go)

I think that play was on the Martian not thinking the runner would go to 2nd. I’m still oissed at that dumb ass move by Cole which cost us this game.

Ahh, thanks for the correction...I was watching the game on my phone for a minute. (small screen) And thought it was Vertigo...but I guess maybe it was the Martian...seem to remember him making a similar poor play awhile back when he allowed the game ending run to score from 3B on a shallow pop up, and for some reason double clutched the throw home.

The concern has to be why this lineup cannot generate any offense. Not to mention the continuous stupidity on the bases.
