Oh look, he just scored again. Boy, is England glad they've got Harry Kane!

Harry Kane still washed I don’t care if he scored 2 goals. We gonna forget he missed an easy header the game before?

We gonna forgive him if Bayern loses Bundesliga again?

When Leeds last won the league (which was so long ago it wasn't the Premier League yet) they did it with a big lumbering center forward called Lee Sharpe, who had a great quote: "If I'd've had more talent I wouldn't have scored as many goals".

When England find a player who can reliably do what Kane does, then he can step down. Maybe it'll be Ollie Watkins, maybe not. But that day is not today, or likely soon.

One thing I’ve never understood about soccer is how you can’t really play players out of their usual position. Which is why you can’t just put Saka in Kanes position, because he always plays as a winger.

Kind of like how having Mbappe playing outside of where he always played for PSG has led to a really surprising/disappointing start for him with Madrid.

Tough start for Leeds… Losing to Burnley today when they dominated possession.

Keep your head up, they’ll be alright I think.

Shocker of the week is Nottingham Forest getting the 1-0 away victory against Liverpool.

Very early, but that’s still a massive blow to Liverpools EPL championship hopes.

Likewise it is great for Forest fans as they watch teams like Southampton and Everton fight against relegation. Ipswich got a point against Crystal Palace today, which will be disappointing to them considering they were up 2-0 at one point.

Forest has done well in the EPL since their promotion a couple of seasons ago.

10 minutes until Munich destroy Holstein and Harry Kane delights Munich fans with a goal against a club likely to be relegated to the 2 Bundesliga.

Still think Liverpool loss is most shocking, but rivaling it is Everton out to an early 2-0 @ Villa in the first 25 minutes!

Elsewhere, 30 minutes in and Munich up 3-0. Kane has a goal and an assist because he heard Rasta is an England fan which defends him.

I saw your post in the OT thread and checked the score earlier. Tough loss, but losses build character and your daughter still young in her collegiate career.

Yeah, beating the teams they should and losing to the ones they should...... sounds like the definition of mediocracy....HA!

Ollie Watkins brace levels it 2-2

Wont be surprised to see Villa win this one

Well you were a third right.

Kane has now scored 40 goals in 35 games for Bayern. Imagine what he could've done if he wasn't "washed".

Wow announcer just said that is Aston Villas first CL goal since 1983. Didn’t realize they’d been Europa/Conference that long

    Lord have Mercy.

Munich have scored 8 goals and Kane has 4 of them. Munich will lead the table after round 1.

    Make that 9 goals

I'd like to gloat but three of those 4 were penalties. It's getting so most of Kane's goals are penalties. (Of course, with England's history of penalties, it's good to have a reliable penalty taker...)
