hahah first off its Culpepper with one "l" not 2. He is still under going rehab for the damages to his knee ligaments and I think Joey Harrington is going to start off the regular season for the Dolphins. Culpepper will step in when he is full healed unless Joey makes no mistakes. I'm pretty sure that's what the QB situation in Miami is right now.

All we've heard is that he was 'looking good' in mini camphttp://nflcentral.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5916Take from it what you want but I see a non-contact practice meaning very little in terms of his rehab. I think we'll know come the preseason weather hell be ready to go or not.

I doubt he will be, they are gonna make sure his knee is back to 100% health before he takes the feild. I think Joey will get the first couple starts. That's mostly the reason they brought him in in the first place.

If i was him i wouldnt be playing because of those blitz he'll be seeing against the Steelers. You definately don't want to get knocked down like 8 or more because when we blitz, we do it physcial! Quite frankly, he doesn't want to further his health if he isn't even 100 percent to go

Won't be ready until week 6 AT THE BEST. People are really quick to forget that tearing all the ligaments in your knee is usually CAREER ENDING.

<span style="color:#6600CC">Well, he's taken the helm at every Dolphins mini-camp, and has been running and cutting at full speed.Basically, he's literally MONTHS ahead of schedule. From what I have seen and read, he's damn near a lock to be behind center week 1 at Pittsburgh. People said it would take a medical miracle for that to happen, and it looks like that's exactly what has taken place.</span>

Watch him rupture it again for starting so soon when he should still be resting it... I think it's sort of risky.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Dolphins | Culpepper receives medical clearance to practiceWed, 26 Jul 2006 20:23:54 -0700Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) has been medically cleared to practice when the team opens training camp, according to head coach Nick Saban. It will be the first time Culpepper is in pads since tearing three knee ligaments last October. Saban said, "Daunte will do the same thing in this camp as every other player relative to the workload he is able to manage. We'll try to manage with him as we go through this. We don't hit the quarterback anyway (in practice), so contact is not an issue." The team still does not know if Culpepper will be ready for the season opener.</div>
