    Too late for that. We are huddled in the safest spot in our house woth our 4 dogs and 5 cats. Just laying low. We did as much prep-work as we could. Also, we are on the west side of the storm, which is best-case. The east side of these hurricanes is known as the dirty side.

    We still have power! We got really lucky with that eastward jog it took a couple hours before landfall. Being on the west side of the storm saved us.

    Have a friend who is staying on the Georgia coast right now and she was updating me on hearing tornado sirens and got lots of wind and rain from this, and this is hundreds of miles from you.
