<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Colts | Manning in DirecTV commercialThu, 29 Jun 2006 18:07:50 -0700Media Week reports DirecTV will break a TV spot this week in which Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning is seen in footage during a real game, but stops in mid-play to pitch consumers on the "NFL Sunday Ticket" package. In Manning's spot, a TV announcer offers, "It's been all Colts today. Peyton is calling an audible." Manning then looks at the camera and says, "(The score) is 28-3 (in favor of the Colts). If you had NFL Sunday Ticket from DirecTV, you could watch up to 14 games every Sunday. You could watch my brother Eli (quarterback with the New York Giants) play the Dallas Cowboys." Then, the action from the real game restarts. "I have to run," Manning says to the camera. "Actually, I think I'll pass." At which point, back in the real game, Manning throws a touchdown pass to make the score 34-3.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nflHis last commercial sucked and I'm not expecting this one to be any better. I hate the Mannings.

I think that commercial was really degrading to those who hold average jobs, especially when he is running up to them asking for their autographs. Its just like showing them how much better he is than them and he knows it. I donno I just really hate that commercial.
Of course, they have to show him in a game against the Titans. We're always on the receiving end of the shaft in highlight reels and stuff, even when we were good.

I just saw the commercial. It was terrible. Manning basically talks about how good DirecTV is before he snaps the football in the middle of a football game. Then, he says O.K. I gotta run. Then he snaps the football. Then he says, actually no, I'm going to pass. Then he scores a touchdown.
