I voted no before but its very close. Most teams are clearly better than us. Clippers without Kawhi might only win around 30 games.

They have zero reason to tank with OKC owning their pick, otherwise I might pick them for 25 wins.

Kawhi being injured last playoffs then injured for all of team USA and still injured today is super concerning. Seems more likely he follows Brandon Roy arch and retires soon than we see him dominating play for the majority of an NBA season. Hard to know for sure as he played many games last year and was dominant.

Got to say fun to watch Dani and TC’s one on one defense. Been a while since we had legit one on one defenders. If Ayton was better defensively we’d be scary good on defense.

Yeah I like watching Klingan in place of Ayton with those groups, its really fun defensively. Been many years since we could say that about a Blazers team. Duop would be fine as a center backup.

Klingan probably isn't ready for more than 20 minutes this season so whatever its fine, but once he gets his conditioning a tad better and less fouls maybe that is the direction we go.

Problem is I just don't know if Ayton has any value. Seems just like when we had Whiteside at the end of his max contract. Maybe we need to find a Meyers Leonard out there we can flip Ayton for.
