<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NFL | NBC drops coverage of Arena League FootballSat, 1 Jul 2006 03:43:16 -0700Jim Derry, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports the Arena Football League announced Friday, June 30, that it was not able to reach a deal with NBC, its partner for nationally televised games the past four seasons, including Arena Bowls XVII through XX. The network had dropped the number of national telecasts from 22 in 2003 to 17 in 2004 and 2005 to nine this past season. NBC Sports president Ken Schanzer wouldn't say much Friday besides a short statement released by the network's media relations department. "Unfortunately we were unable to reach an agreement," Schanzer said. "We've enjoyed our partnership with the Arena Football League. It's a great game with great people. We wish them all the best."</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl

AFL is ok at first, good if your already missing football... but it gets old fast. I'd rather see some NFL Europe coverage actually, you can see some actual NFL players in that and it's more fun to follow IMO because its normal football.

NBC dropping coverage is old news to people who follow the AFL. Their coverage has been pathetic.
