<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Bears | Briggs rejected a deal worth about $5.5 million per seasonSat, 1 Jul 2006 10:12:25 -0700Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears LB Lance Briggs turned down a deal worth about $5.5 million per season, which would have made him one of the highest-paid players on the roster. The Bears wound up rescinding the offer and Briggs in turn boycotted the team's voluntary offseason program. Briggs is expected to report to training camp and will likely play out the season without contract talks reopening.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl
Why won't this guy get it in his head that he's not going to get Brian Urlacher money?? I think he's got a fair deal. And if you walk, Lance, we don't care, b/c we have replacemants who are just as good and cost less.

This guy should have taken the 5.5/yr deal cuz that's pretty much all he's worth. YOU DO NOT however have replacements who are just as good, its just straight up not true. Every team has backups with potential but Briggs is one of the top LBs in the league man.

Him and his agent are pulling a Ty Law and priceing him out of the market.

He is the best defensive player in the NFL.
