Scoot is already going full Scoot in the 2nd half. On two consecutive possessions, he had a really bad shot on offense, and then drove to the paint and passed to....the defense.

Toumani doing all he can to sustain this no offense lineup of Scoot, Tou, Rupert, Murray and Clingan.

The Clippers sit Harden for the second half and get better.

I was seriously hoping that Scoot would show some signs of improvement.

So far, I'd say he hasn't.

    he's 2-9, o-3 from 3, 2 assists and 5 turnovers.

I know he's playing because Simons is out, but oof...he shouldn't be a starter. Hasn't earned it.

I like how aggressive Toumani is. DC is definitely making the Clippers’ offense think about their attack.

I was more optimistic for Telfair during his sophomore season than I am with Scoot at this point.

he’s not good. We should trade him while he’s sorta a mystery right now

He's gonna have to start showing *something*. He is making the same mistakes he made last year, and it's like he can't see the basket when he shoots.

I'm not giving up on him, but good lord, he's playing like a 3rd string PG.

I think its still too early to be saying Scoot is bad. He is just still very young. He gets caught up in the moment of the game. It's all very crazy and fast to him. He doesn't yet have the wiseness or the patience to see the game at a slower speed. Hopefully, it will come with time.

Yeah I don’t see good enough IQ from Scoot. I know he’s young and all but the majority of the great PGs showed something early on even if their stats didn’t. I’m really not seeing it from Scoot. I hope I’m wrong.

This. It’s half a pre-season game. First one at that. But damn… I just want a glimpse of something useful.

I think we are seeing it in the stats, just not moment to moment on the court. He makes a lot of mistakes and bad choices. That comes with being young. Hopefully, the game slows down for him eventually and he is able to bring another level.
