    If he's not better than he showed, that's your answer. A year with a good coach is more than enough to show significant improvements on shooting and decision making within an offensive system.

    Deni basically are the Lillard trade, except we still have a pick and some swaps.

    Camara was probably more in exhange for Nurk /Little than Lillard.

    But Deni > Camara at this point ayway.

    I'd be surprised if half way through the season the game threads routinely have more than 100 posts in them. We are at a lowwwww point in the franchise, there's no denying that.

    For this circumstance it's the team no question.

    We've had really good seasons with very active threads despite discord between some members.

    I would question that. If the Blazers are having a good season the threads will always be active, no matter what. But if the team is unwatchable and the fans are unbearable...that combo will be the cause of your 100-post thread prediction IMO. As many have stated the team is at least likable. But if the threads are all just obnoxious bitch sessions game after game it will take a toll.

    I disagree. Apathy isn't going to create hostility in this instance.

    The team is gonna suck. They need to lose every game. It'll wear on everyone.

    We also had several game threads with less than 100 posts last year. Several more with less than 200.

    I'm not going to be upset about a single loss this season. I just want to see the young guys playing and improving.

    Some semblance of decent defensive or offensive team strategy would be nice to see.

    Chauncy has shown little to no aptitude for that since he became coach, so I have little hope much will change as far as a "decent defensive or offensive team strategy". he should have been fired after last season

    Really tough to disagree with that. I understand he doesn't have a ton to work with... But these guys should look a lot more organized than they do.
