Is this even a question? Camara has shown all-around game. Scoot has shown all-around lack-thereof. If Scoot does have a role on a contender, it will be as a end-of-the-bench towel-waver while Camara would be on the court regularly actually contributing to wins.
Camara and Deni may end up being the saving grace of the Lillard trade. The only players I have any hope for, as far as building a middle of the pack playoff quality team: Deni, Camara, Clingan, Simons and Sharpe (whom I'm less excited about now than I was last year).
I'm curious what % of Blazer fans share this assessment today, 50/50, 75/25, 90/10, etc? A year ago it would've probably been 99/1 in favor of Scoot.
Even those who take time show promise at some point. Still waiting for Scoot, they are infrequent enough to be accidental rather than demonstrative.
