It's nice to have someone who is 6'4 who can catch the fade routes in the back of the endzone. Ect.

Moss did a lot of slant routes last year actually. And Thrash and Cooley are tough up the middle too. Once again, if the defense focuses on us passing to the outside, PORTIS TIME BABY!

He got traded from one of the worst teams in the NFL to one of the most promising teams next year. Youre going to use Archuleta more like a LB? You do know theyre in the NFC east now right. So you're going to leave a lot of very good wr's with one on one coverage. Guys like PLax, TO, Toomer, etc. Moss, Jacobs, Lloyd, etc can't catch a ball down the middle and hang on after they get drilled by the opposing safety's and Lb's.

Like drop said they're better possession WR's. They can catch more balls in the endzone. They can take hits and give hits to get open. They can also catch more jumpballs. Big WR's are also better blockers which helps the running game also. I would prefer a Tall and Heavy WR.

What you dont understand is that's not how our offense works man, we don't need bigger and taller wide recievers because we use our speedsters and Portis to get us close to the red zone (which works), and once we are there we just go to guys like Sellers and Cooley, we don't need a big heavy tall WR to haul em in. Plus Fauria is a big dude and got his share of TDs with the Patriots in the redzone, especially in '02.

Anyone can catch a TD from Brady. An example I believe is Vrabel. I can catch a TD from Brady lol. Still Fauria is a big target who can catch it in the endzone like you said.

And if we do cover TO, Plax, Toomer one on one, it will be Taylor owning them, not Springs or Rogers. Plus if we put Wright/Jimoh/Prioleau and a CB on one of those WRs, they'll be shut down that way too.We can't catch a ball down the middle? You kiddin? Well, maybe not Randle El, but all Moss and Lloyd pretty much do is slants... and hang on to 'em. Jacobs is tall, but he sucks. And Patten and Thrash are strong too.

If not, Brunell/Campbell will run it in or lob it to Sean Taylor (who plays on goal line). Sellers had 8 TDs, Cooley had 7 in 9 starts. And don't forget we have a... well.. pretty good RB. Oh and... size doesn't matter. Skill and strength does.
