And on the contrary, to say “it makes people sick” is also a huge stretch. The numbers are so minuscule. You are playing with decimal points to make your bold proclamation of “many more people”. The numbers really aren’t significant either way.

The numbers are miniscule in part because not many people drink raw milk and quality of milk on the market is strictly regulated. It could be a much larger problem if raw milk were not strictly regulated and people not educated on the risks.

The risk/reward leans heavily toward regulation of quality and education of risks. No idea why anybody is politicising such a glaring difference (raw milk is 800% more likely to make you sick, and there is no legitimate scientific data that shows any additional benefit of raw milk over pasteurized milk).

Nobody is preventing people from drinking local raw milk, and nobody is proposing any such restriction. Drinking or otherwise consuming raw milk is legal in all 50 states.

Fox host: You tweeted ‘when the looting starts, the shooting starts.’ Why those words?

Trump: So, that’s an expression I’ve heard over the years

Fox host: Do you know where it comes from?

    Trump: I think Philadelphia

Fox host: No, it comes from 1967. It was from the chief of police in Miami who was cracking down on Black neighborhoods and he said, ‘I don't even care if it makes it look like brutality. I'm gonna crack down. When the looting starts, the shooting starts’

    Trump: Yeah

Well, in these parts, all the stupid leftists keep voting in favor of keeping it in.

Where are you located? I know Portland for awhile was the largest city in the nation to have voted against fluoridation. I think that was ten or so years ago, I don’t know the status now.

Portland still does not add fluoride to its water. I'd say that the continuing widespread stupidity found in Portland is proof positive that there's no association between fluoride and cognitive abilities.

My daughters pediatrician prescribed fluoride supplements for her at an early age - now at 18 years old she has never had a cavity. Just sayin'

I'm 44 years old and grew up in Oregon City. Which also does not add fluoride to their water. I've had one cavity in my life.

Though, I can definitely tell that my teeth aren't as tough as they were when I was younger.

The kicker to me though, is that dentists clearly know the difference. And they can clearly tell when they are doing work in a city that does not fluoridate their water supply.

I grew up in Salem without any fluoride. Every molar in my head had cavities by the time I was a teenager, despite my having brushed and cared for my teeth. I now have seven teeth that have had to have crowns due to teeth eventually breaking down around the fillings. More are likely coming.

My kids all received fluoride treatments from their dentists. All have now reached middle age, are smarter than hell, healthy and only one has had a filling (1).

Yeah, I think I was just lucky. My kids get cavities and they care for their teeth. I wish we would have done the fluoride treatments. But it had never been a problem for me so we didn't worry about it.

I grew up with fluoridated water. I had braces for three years, making it harder to brush. I am now 70. I have three fillings.
I also drink black tea which contains fluoride. Downside it's the worst stainer, worse than coffee or even cigarettes, as a stain, not health. Dental assistants have quite a time. We joke about trying dynamite.

Anyone else notice how much Republicans love to dance to a song by a gay man about men cavorting in the showers at the YMCA? Weird!
