Admittedly, I did. But I cut way back once I found out the truth. Started up again (with season tickets) when they burned the roster to the ground.
I don't go to the games, but I do have Comcast and they had ROOT. So essentially, I was spending money on the Blazers; meaning I have the privilege to complain...do I have that right? I'll be honest, even if I lived completely in the free zone, I'd still complain about things I didn't like about the Blazers I'm confused though....what's the difference between people complaining about the Blazers, vs people complaining about people complaining about the Blazers?
I dunno, but I'll tell you that I'm sick and tired of people kvetching about the whining over the complaining. I'm not sure what side that puts me on...
The do or don't spend money on the Blazers might have zero impact. The Blazers ownership is not a normal sports franchise ownership situation where the owner pays or gets cash from a team, or even reaps gains from the a high sale price of the team. I really have no idea what would motivate Jody to change any decisions with the Blazers. I also worry that if she does get that point and jump in to change something it will HURT the long term competitive nature of the team far more than help.
I think it hurts that both of our guards of the future could have really benefited from playing in college for at least a season.
I simply don't think the NBA should be drafting anybody straight out of high school. Nearly every player would be better off playing a couple years in college or overseas. Especially now that they can be paid via NIL. Players should be 2 years out of high school to be eligible for the draft.
What, that Scoot pays well against G-league-level competition? I thought we were aware of that 2 years ago.
I'm so proud of that one! The fact that EnglandDan was the one talked to by security makes it even funnier!
Aren’t you one that always says that preseason doesn’t matter? What about preseason against non-NBA teams? Either way, he’s been trending upward with each game and I’m glad to see the improvement. Here’s hoping he can build on it moving forward into the regular season.
Not sure it doesn’t matter. Just think you can’t take too much away from the good OR bad performances. Just want to make sure the people who were destroying this kid in Game 1 of preseason saw game 2 and 3. Didn’t hear it mentioned at all, so was just sharing. I assumed they were busy. They wouldn’t only bring up the shitty games right?
Worth noting that this guy, from the 2025 mock draft ...is the guy who did this against us last night:
