Top five selection next April if he stays healthy and declares for the draft.3- Calvin Johnson*/WR/Georgia Tech: Powerful receiver with natural pass catching skills. A great red-zone threat who possesses tremendous size and soft hands.4- Ted Ginn Jr*/WR/Ohio St: Game breaking receiver who also impacts the game as a return specialist. Reminds people of former Buckeye Joey Galloway.5- Brian Brohm*/QB/Louisville: Large pocket passer with the physical skills and mental make-up to start in the NFL. Needs time to complete his game but a high pick in the future.6- Quentin Moses/DE/Georgia: Speedy edge rusher who terrorizes quarterbacks off the corner. Classic 4-3 right defensive end.7- Michael Bush/RB/Louisville: Big interior ball-carrier who offers the skills to be a feature runner at the next level. Effective in the open field while also offering the skills to be a goal-line/short yardage back.8- Joe Thomas/T/Wisconsin: Effective pass blocking left tackle coming off a serious knee injury. A possible top 15 selection in last April?s draft had he not suffered the injury and opted for the NFL.9- Gaines Adams/DE/Clemson: Terrific pass rusher who flashes ability dropped off the line in space. Has potential as a conventional defensive end or rush linebacker in a 3-4 defense.10- LaRon Landry/S/LSU: Complete defensive back forceful against the run and effective in coverage. Sized well and a potential top 15 choice.11- Jeff Samardzija/WR/Notre Dame: King sized receiver whose game is on the upswing. Controls the game while also breaking is open. Also has a career in professional baseball.12- Leon Hall/CB/Michigan: Shut down corner who makes a lot of plays on the ball. Offers immediate starting potential at the next level.13- Justin Blalock/T/Texas: Classic right tackle with a great degree of athleticism. Dominant blocker who destroys opponents, never giving up an inch of room.14- LaMarr Woodley/DE/Michigan: Explosive defender effective in a three point stance or standing up over tackle. Makes a lot of plays up the field rushing the passer as well as out to the sidelines in run defense.15- Sidney Rice*/WR/South Carolina: Game breaking receiver slowly developing a complete game. Benefits under Steve Spurrier's offensive system yet a legitimate big time prospect.16- Drew Stanton/QB/Michigan State: Strong-armed passer who effectively commands the Spartans west coast offense. Offers potential in several different systems and could make a move up draft boards.17- Darrelle Revis*/CB/Pittsburgh: Nice sized corner who shuts down opponents on the college level. Offers great upside and a player to watch.18- Jason Hill/WR/Washington State: Game controlling pass catcher with a solid combination of size and speed. The "go-to guy" defenses cannot stop.19- Frank Okam*/DT/Texas: Large run stuffer on the inside who commands double teams yet holds the point. Classic defensive tackle who'll also be given consideration on the nose.20- Antoine Cason*/CB/Arizona: Dynamite cornerback with great upside. Needs to complete his game but potentially a top-twelve pick in '07.21- H.B. Blades/OLB/Pittsburgh: Versatile linebacker with great bloodlines. Not flashy rather efficient and very productive.22- Marshawn Lynch*/RB/California: Explosive ball carrier coming off a breakout season. Lacks the classic size yet a versatile skill player who can be used in several different roles.23- Brandon Meriweather/S/Miami-Fl: True centerfield prospect with potential at cornerback. Lacks top safety size yet offers solid cover skills and a three down player at his position.24- Dwayne Jarrett*/WR/USC: Matt Leinart's favorite target the past two seasons. Possesses great size and even better natural receiving skills. Fast forty-times could push him into the top 15 next April should he jump to the NFL.25- Justin Harrell/DT/Tennessee: A silent killer and unheralded defensive lineman. It is certainly an odd list to say the least. Ted Ginn is very high, Leon Hall is high, Rivas is high, Marshawn and Dwayne very low. And then Jason Hill and Justin Harrell in the top 25, hmmm. Maybe if it was just seniors, I could understand, but there is certainly better talent than Harrell and a few that are better than Hill.
