Blazers let 12-3. Only outscored by 44 the rest of the game. Seems about right.

Chauncey looks like a dead man walking already.

So after a good sleep, here are my negative thoughts

    This team can’t shoot
The offense is boring and predictable
    Scoot is trash
    Grant already doing Grant things
    Avdija plays hard
    Clingan plods
    Ayton shouldn’t shoot threes
    Simons chucks
    Camara plays hard
Billups has no business being an NBA head coach. None

That effort in game 1 is unacceptable.

Where is the backlash? Better yet, where are the infringement rights?

Scoot's +/- of negative 30 stands out from the crowd, and matches the eye test. Of course the whole team played bad, but he's just the crap frosting on top of the cardboard cake.

I honestly don't think the team's talent level is bad. If they were well coached they could easily be .500.

But part of that would mean Scoot has to earn his minutes, or, play more like 12 minutes per game as to continue trying to develop him while lessening his impact.

Maybe I'm being too tough on Deni but I'm not seeing it you guys? I have got to admit that is the first real game i have ever seen the kid play.

if not for all the entitled GSW fans infiltrating 300…

Standing for the teams introductions some lasy asked us to sit down. I turned around and said im sorry but im going to stand and cheer on the players as they are announced. Its energy…support.
Then she says(while sitting and most everyone else is standing) “I cant see Draymond Green”.
Mind you they are three rows up, not directly behind us.
I then turned and said no. You can stand if you like but we are not sitting so you can sit and watch Draymond green. Smiled at her and said nope.
She flipped us off in front of some little kids.

I was about to go off pn her but looked at one little kid Nd said “Lady, this is a family atmosphere, you should have more respect for kids” and pointed at the little boy in front of her. She smirked and flipped me off again.

GSW entitled fans can suck a fat one.

So yeah 300 was not its usual self….

And yes fuck GP two weeks, two months…

Maybe some draft capital or a young player like Camara. But mostly, just get them out of the way. They've slowed down the rebuild enough.

I have no problem with him. I sure wish he didn't cost us 2 picks though...

Grant and Simons, while not bad players or bad people, just seem to be role players thrusted into bigger roles than they are capable of.

Grant at least appeared aggressive last night. Simons was just there.

Simons needs to set the tone, be the leader. He did neither of those last night.

Grant is aggressive with chucking up his own shot, but he's a very lazy defender.

Another stat that reveals this is his rebounding numbers.

How the hell do you, as a PF in the NBA, consitently only get 1-2 rebounds per game?

Deni is a phenomenal role player playing best player on our team. It would be like putting Stephen Tobolowski, who makes everything he’s in great, as a romantic lead next to Meryl Streep

Again I say, Grant should be viewed/treated like a 2--that basically matches his game. If we're going to start Simons and Grant, they should be the backcourt. I'd rather he be an oversized guard than an undersized forward. Defensively, keep him out on the perimeter, use his height/length to bother opposing guards. I believe that he's quick enough to do so.

I thought he looked like our best player last night. Just miscast in role. Like you said.
