Is a 5 goal loss by the Timbers as bad as a 40 point loss by the Blazers on opening night?

Are these the same owners that are bringing in the WNBA?

No, Merritt Paulson sold the Thorns but kept the Timbers. He's the son of Hank Paulson (former fed chair who led the bank bailouts).

I have never seen so many botched chances. If Mbappe could have (a) timed his runs better, and (b) not missed easy chances, this game could've been at least 5-5 (Lewandoski missed a complete open goal at one point (Harry Kane would never)).

Mbappe has not been great for Madrid, and as stated earlier Lewandowski is a legend. Underrated striker. Dude doesn’t get the type of hype he should get.

I’ve been monitoring Leeds even closer now that I know you are a Leeds fan Rasta.

Still early but it’s looking promising for Leeds UTD this year. Mildly concerning that Sheffield UTD and Burnley are knocking at the door, both clubs looking to get back to the premier league.

Speaking of fairytale teams. How about Nottingham Forest and Chris Wood? 2nd year into promotion after being in the championship for quite some time and after 10 matches find themselves at #3 on the table behind M.City and Liverpool. Thing is, it might not entirely be a “take a picture Nottingham fans” kind of moment, because they have some fairly quality draws and wins so far, such as their win over Liverpool, draws with Chelsea and Brighton, and now a 3-0 win over West Ham in a match which they were already up 1-0 and looking good before West Ham went down a man.

I have a soft spot for Forest since the days of the GREATEST ENGLISH MANAGER EVER, Ol' Big 'Ead Brian Clough. I would love for them to duplicate Leicester's legendary feat, but it's legendary for a reason.

I can’t believe the England national team are so chronically disappointing. You’d think they would be good on paper in like 95% of their matches yet somehow they always find a way to underperform.

It’s actually insane that Ireland have held them without a shot on target in 50 minutes when England is starting Kane out front, followed by Bellingham and Anthony Gordon.

As I’m typing this England gets a Penalty (which Kane scored), which might actually be the difference in this one.

I don’t think you can be content about the result… You’ve got to expect better if you want to win tough games in the future.

You follow the goings on during the INTL. break Rasta?

Haaland has been insane for Norway internationally this year. Not really surprising.

Dude very well may retire as the most prolific goalscorer in world history. He’s doing it in all competitions… Really impressive. Forget the club he plays for… Dude just gets goals.

And now it’s England 3-0 Ireland

Which I feel like proves my point.

Liverpool definitely looking like the favorites in the EPL this year.

And in the championship Leeds is looking good but definitely not out of the water for promotion.

Sucks to be a Southampton fan. -25 goal difference, can’t compete with anybody they play. Basically guaranteed relegation.

I was surprised by Inter Miami getting bounced early.

The top four teams in the Championship are neck-and-neck. Sheffield United, Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland. The bottom of the Premier League is going to get a Northern flavor next season. Of them all, I think Leeds has the highest ceiling (and current best goal difference) but is probably also the most inconsistent. Which is not good for my blood pressure.

The big story in the Premier League has to be the complete and utter collapse of Man City. What the fuck happened to Pep Guardiola?
