That's not how it works for anybody you have in a job. They stay at the job until management or the employer decides to end it, THEN there is a search for a replacement.
Spoelstra. Phil Jackson in Chicago. Chip Kelly at Oregon... Just a few examples off the top of my head. That's our best chance to find a great coach, IMO.
