    After 3 games...
Blocks/36: 6.3, 2nd in NBA (guy I've never heard of is first in 12 min of play in 2 games, i.e. Clingan is really 1st)
    Rebounds/36: 15.3, 8th in NBA
    Offensive Reb/36: 7.2, 7th in NBA

Note: he really had a mediocre 1st game, so stats should be higher. OTOH, the other 2 games were against the same team. Maybe Pels just suck at rebounding.
Regardless, interesting stats. He needs to get to a place where he can play 30 mpg to begin to think about him as a starter.

If his body language is any indication, he’ll need to work on his conditioning to get up to 30 mpg.

The place is Portland, the time is immediately after Ayton is traded.

Once this kid gets into nba shape I think his earned nick name will be “Think Again” because that’s what the opposing team will be doing when they drive to the basket! I know that is what I will be yelling after every block or beastly box out!

Game 1, I swear he was winded just running to the scorer's table the first time. He's already looking fitter!

Is Cling dealing with a calf injury or something? In Game 2 he was wearing a calf brace and you can clearly see he was laboring up and down the court, like he was having trouble running.

Last night the brace was gone and he was running better but still wondering if he is or was dealing with a minor injury

Billups said something about DC tweaking an ankle, but I didn't hear anything about a calf.

Damn, I just realized while typing that, we need a twin tower compliment to him whose initials are AC. Having DA and DC on the frontline is cool and all, but AC/DC would be next level.

Sadly, Alex Caruso and Amir Coffey are the only AC's in the league at the moment. Perhaps we'll pick up AJ Casey in this upcoming draft, but he doesn't quite look NBA caliber.

We could fool everyone by getting a top notch prospect to change his name just prior to the draft...

It wouldn't even have to be a twin tower combo, on second thought. An "AC/DC" play of a PG lobbing to Clingan would be so much catchier than Stockton-to-Malone. So, there's still a chance it could be Caruso, if we're satisfied with an underwhelming solution to the problem.

Maybe we draft Ace Bailey and just go with ACE/DC

I can't decide whether that's a visual or audible thing, but it definitely works.

Donovan's block % right now is insane. 13.3%

For reference, here are the career block percentages of some of the all time greats:
    Mutumbo 6.3%
    Ratliff 7.2%
    Bol 10.2%
    Eaton 6.9%

Victor Wemby is going to go down in history as one of the best shotblockers of all time.... other than Clingan!

Last night game was the most dominant defensive game I can remember of a Blazer big man since Camby had his name chanted at the rose garden. Super impressive performance. It wasn't just the blocks either, you could see how all the Minnesota players were taken out of their normal offense attacks and became hesitant to drive inside. Even Edwards had plays he avoided Clingan. Clingan also was excellent on offense, in a way the Camby, Pryzbilla, or other defensive centers rarely are.

Sharpe had some amazing moments his rookie season, even his game 1 was excellent. This game last night by Clingan was right up there with any of Sharpe rookie season games. I can't think of a Blazers rookie that had moments as impressive as Clingan and Sharpe since Dame. CJ ended up being a great draft pick, but he really didn't do much as a rookie.

Before Dame and Sharpe who is a rookie that had one of these performances like Clingan? Only others I can think of are BRoy and LaMarcus way back in 2006. Five years before that we had some with ZBo. Extremely impressive elite group that Clingan has joined!
