We shall see if they can avoid an embarrassing sweep at home. Even though at the end of the day losing is still losing. I feel very badly for Aaron Judge. This MVP will ring very hallow and his legacy takes a hit it may not be able to recover from.

We'll see if they have any pride tonight. Boones multiple bad decisions lost game one and I think had a depressing affect on the series. But the same things we saw all season with the yankees with regards to not hitting with RISP, crappy defense, mindboggling bad base running, a third base coach who has had more bad sends and players thrown out at the plate than I want to remember and a totally unathletic team. regardless of the outcome major changes need to be made. Cashman and Boone both need to be gone and Hal needs to find his balls to make this happen. Im not betting my house he does! Rizzo needs to retire, Gleyber needs to find another home in free agency, For my money Jazz can go. He's a defensive liability, makes shaky decisions and is not the hitter we need. Verdugo needs to find another home in free agency and the Martian become our LF unless they don't give rice a shot at first and try to make judge the first baseman. Soto I will be surprised if he stays. He's a great offensive and clutch hitter but one of the worst outfielders I've seen in a long time and an adventure when he's on the base paths. Despite a bad playoffs I think wells is a kid and will be all right in the long run. Our bullpen is made up of a conglomerate DFA players from other teams and not the answers. Same thing year after year. How about some of the hard throwing kids we just drafted that throw in the high 90's getting a shot at the bullpen instead of starting their careers in A ball especially since most of them played multiple years in college. The starting pitching can't pitch more than 5 innings with the mindless sparky Boone at the controls. Now you ask, how does a team with a 300 plus million dollar payroll and has the likes of judge, soto and Cole on this team have so many holes. Answer, this team is poorly constructed AGAIN by cashman. Since he won't please us by retiring Hal or maybe another family member not tied at the hip to cashman steps in and makes the decision. A new gm immediately fires Boone and makes the changes that need to be made for this team going forward. This is what I'd like to see happen but again I'm not holding my breath with hapless Hal finding his balls!

Honestly, this team is going to be in need of a rebuild. Soto and Cole could both very well be gone. You need a replacement at first base, second base and third base. Also, I expect teams to be much better next year so the Yankees will not be the survivor of a crappy watered down league.

Boone just putting the final stamp on why he has got to go. His answer to Judge’s historic troubles and the teams failure to score runs is this stroke of genius.

Move Stanton down on the lineup and ball Chisholm fourth.

He loves the righty lefty righty bullshit. Boone is a fucking turd. Always has been. Always will be.
Righty lefty righty shit only matters once you get into a bullpen truly…and this team hasn’t been effective this series at having the matchups matter.

At this point I would be surprised if Hal even attempts to sign Soto. Reason being why sign Soto to big bucks when Judge doesn't show up in Post Season!

Freeman with his 4th HR in this Series!

Honestly, after game 1 I think all true baseball fans that aren’t Yankee homers knew this series was over. Boone absolutely killed any chance this team had at winning. His compete incompetence in all scenarios is astounding honestly. Pinch running for Gleyber with a player who has similar speed, putting in Cortez who will be throwing for the Staten Island Waste Management slow pitch softball team next year over Hill, not pinch running for Stanton in game 2 when Stanton got on base and allowing him to clog the basepaths (Jazz gets on base but there is ZERO threat of a double steal because Stanton is a pylon out there which meant the pitcher could pitch out of the stretch with no need to worry about the base runners). Boone will ALWAYS be the third smartest man in a room with two people in it.

Here’s the thing. You need a first baseman, second baseman, third baseman and left fielder. You have Judge and Stanton on the books for big money. If you pay Soto a fortune can you realistically field a competitive team?

I wouldn't be surprised if Soto doesn’t resign here because Hal tries to be cheap. Hal doesn’t care about winning. If he did care, Boone and Cashman would’ve been gone a LONG time ago.

Two years ago got embarrassed in the ALCS. Now another likely sweep in the World Series. He needs to go. Like you said what he did in game one was criminal. Acted like it was a game in May.

You have Dominguez for left, Rice for first and then you have Peraza for second. This team is screwed because of Stanton. Stanton’s contract is an albatross that we cannot bear if we want to truly win but he’s unmovable. Trashman can try to be smart and offer Soto a deal like Ohtani, but MLB would step in and say we aren’t allowed to I’d bet.

Judge needs to get away from this hitting coach too. As do ALL the Yankees. He’s poisoned the fuck out of them and they can’t get right when this douche canoe is over there telling them about launch angle rather than just making contact.

Yup, and he’s so locked into his habits you saw no adjustments.

Unlikely, i.e., able to "field a competitive team," and other than the noted needs by positions; the Yanx also need a crew of pitchers, both starting pitching and relief too.

Imo Soto can be a defensive liability. One helluva of an offensive weapon, but questionable defensively and without a strong arm.

You can also see it with Jazz. Contact hitter trying to hit 500 foot bombs
