Now we seem to be at the point again where all polls are saying Trump is back ahead and on the rise.

 

Being triggered into riding shotgun in a garbage truck and almost faceplant when you repeatedly miss the door handle will do that. Americans love it when billionaires steal the job of trash haulers.

 

Just go to MSN and read the links. It seems they change about every other day. I expect by tomorrow they will be talking about a Harris major surge. Followed by a rise in polling for Trump on Sunday due to the clocks moving back to standard time.
By next Tuesday it will be a dead heat again most likely?

 

I get a kick out of Trump and MAGA saying that Obama was the great divider.

Why? Because he was black?

MAGA is a movement based in full fledged racism. They should quit being disingenuous and call themselves Make America White again

 

My feeling on this election is pretty simple. This election was the Republicans to win or lose. If they would have put forth even a slightly qualified candidate they would have run away with this. The very fact that Kamala is in a dead heat in the election is entirely due to Trump being quite so inept.

 

All Obama did was expose people’s true colors.

I remember them coming out and saying he wasn't Black enough. Pretty much the same thing they are trying to use against Harris. "She's only half Black and because she once said she is Indian then she must be lying about that also". It's pathetic. Why is her heritage being discussed at all?

Seriously, I worked with a fella, he wasn't overtly racist but he was from the time when racism was kind of taken for granted. When I told him Obama was going to win, he said "Nah, the country's not ready for one of them to be president."

Heck, he might even have voted for Obama, but, you know, there's strength in numbers. There are forces in this world that prosper from keeping people apart, suspicious, mistrustful.

Having trump ride shotgun in the garbage truck had the media talking about Biden calling 50% of American voters garbage for another 24 hours, that is good press coverage for a stupid thing for Biden to say. And yes I know 90% of this board will say Biden did not say that. the video was clear that he said it.

 

We have a senate race here in PA this year, too.

The incumbent is a Democrat whose father was governor. The Republicans, for the second straight senate election, have sent a guy that kind of sort of lives in another state, but anyway ....

The Republican candidate's big ad starts with "Bob Casey wants to let boys play in girls sports." That's even before taxing social security. I haven't heard anything about any boys in Pennsylvania transitioning to play girls sports. I presume there might be a couple, but it's not common.

For that to be the Republicans' major running point tells me every reason not to vote for any GOP candidate. It's bigotry and it also shows a complete lack of good sense that I want in my elected legislators. Your main point is telling me that I shouldn't vote for a guy who's done so much for the state for something that's not happening? Good grief.
