And Griese, like Grossman is a great player when healthy. Both these teams have stronger depth at QB I'd say.
Re: ESPN SportsCenter's Ultimate NFL Depth Chart Lions got Jon Kitna who will lead them to the playoffs. THAT'S RIGHT! PLAYOFFS!
Re: ESPN SportsCenter's Ultimate NFL Depth Chart Hell, if they can get their shit together I'd say you're right. Having Martz there at OC is definitely going to help them get all those WR talents to produce more, even after losing Warner the Rams still found success with Bulger, I bet the loss of Joey Harrington won't make much a difference in Detroit, could actually have some positive effects.

Josh McCown took advantage of throwing to the best WR trio in the league last season and sucked over the rest of his career. There is a good reason why he was let go in Free Agency and the Cardinals chose to keep Kurt Warner instead. And Jon Kitna was a backup Quarterback last year where he has only had one decent year in his career which was in 2003 where he lead his team to an amazing 8-8 record. And Orvlosky is as good as the Jets Second Round Pick who has only impressed everybody in traning camps so far? Grossman is healthy less often then Chad Pennington is. In his 3 years in the league he has played 9 Games. Chad Pennington is at least around 50% of the time in the game. And Id take Patrick Ramsey and Kellen Clemens over Brian Griese and Kyle Orton anyday. Orton was a terrible QB playing on a good team and barely managed them to about 15 points a game average and Griese is a career underachiever much like Patrick Ramsey.Id take Pennington, who when healthy is a much better quarterback then any of the people you just listed, Patrick Ramsey who is a backup with at least decent starting experiance and the highly thought of rookie who has been impressing everybody so far over those groups anyday.
