I've expressed the reasons several times before, but I think polling has kind of jumped the shark because it's a lot harder to get good results in this age of technology.

I'm really curious to see how the polls match up with the actual results, though.

 

anxiety about tuesday has led me down a rabbit hole about researching the accuracy and history for an Iowan poll.

Robert Kennedy, having no scientific or medical training, is apparently unaware that fluoride occurs naturally in water. Its effect on teeth was discovered when public health workers observed people in some communities had brown stains on their teeth but never got cavities, in an era when regular brushing and flossing and dental visits were a rarity. Fluoride stains but also protects. They did actual research, not looking for like minded people on Twitter, and worked out concentrations that would protect teeth without staining. Fluorine is a naturally occuring fluoride compound. Did he ever take chemistry 101?

 

There’s indicators that it’s real possibility Harris wins Iowa.
