<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Moss: I wanted to be a Falcon or a RavenFOXSports.comPosted: 3 days ago Raiders wide receiver Randy Moss said in a radio interview Thursday that when he left the Vikings he wanted to be traded to Atlanta or Baltimore instead of Oakland.Moss said Falcons owner Arthur Blank told him that Atlanta did not want him to come, according to the interview that aired Thursday morning on "Mayhem in the A.M." on 790 The Zone in Atlanta."I want to tell every Atlanta Falcon and football fan that's listening to this what happened. When I was getting traded from Minnesota I wanted to come and play for either the Atlanta Falcons or the Baltimore Ravens," Moss said."I wanted to play with Atlanta just for the fact of Michael Vick's elusiveness, and I wanted to play with a guy such as Ray Lewis because he's on defense and I'm on offense.""So I did have dreams and high hopes of being traded to the Atlanta Falcons but the president and owner of the Atlanta Falcons (Arthur Blank) told me specifically that he does not want me in Atlanta, there's nothing that I can do to Atlanta and he wished me the best of luck. He did not think that Randy Moss would be a good fit in Atlanta."Moss then wrapped up his comments on the situation in Atlanta: "Basically it was the president and owner of the team saying there is no cold chance in hell I'll be playing for the Atlanta Falcons. So I took the Atlanta Falcons off my list and tried to go elsewhere."</div>http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5766634
Yeah. I remember him announcing that a while ago and I remember Falcon fans going nuts on their official message boards.Almost all the best wide recievers bring drama on their team; Randy Moss being one of them, and Atlanta doesn't need to waste such cold cash on Moss so that they can find a target Vick can throw to. Roddy White and Michael Jenkins are going to prove to be one of the best combos in the NFL.Good read though.
Haha They'll never be the best combo in the NFL especially having a run-first QB. They spent good money on a Non-poison player in Price but that turned out horrible. The year before that Price had a very good season for the Bills.
I had never heard of this before. I'd feel bad if I was a Raiders fan reading this...would make me think he isn't happy to be with my team.
I don't get it. Why does he come out and say this. It serves no purpose but to harm him in Oakland and his ability to make money somewhere else in the future.Really dumb if you ask me... but nobody was ever giving him credit for being a sharp guy.
