Re: John Clayton's 53-man roster Didn't see it posted anywhere so....http://espn.go.com/swf/nfl/clayton/clayton_53man_index.html
Re: John Clayton's 53-man roster Why isn't Champ Bailey on there starting at CB and Marcus Trufant is...? To be honest I think he could have put together a better team then that.
Re: John Clayton's 53-man roster And if he doesn't want to pay his players so much then why not start Chris Cooley and have Mercedes Lewis backin him up? And he should've got D'Brickashaw Ferguson instead of Walter Jones.

And the reason Champ Bailey isnt on there is because he makes too much money and isnt worth the salary.
Re: John Clayton's 53-man roster If I was building a 53 man roster I would of found a way to fit Champ Bailey in at CB. I realize he costs a lot but he could have chosen cheaper backups with equal strengths. I mean he DID find a way to get the pricey Peyton Manning on the roster...

Champ Bailey is a great cornerback, but DeAngelo Hall and Marcus Trufant are also damn good corners for a fraction of the price.
Re: John Clayton's 53-man roster This was done putting the best team together of players w/their current salaries and staying within the salary cap. It's not an all-star team. Here's the article about it: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor...john&id=2511045
Re: John Clayton's 53-man roster Starting long snapper baby! WOOOOOOOOOOOOAnd Incognito backup up at both guard spots.

Re: John Clayton's 53-man roster mannign was there because while he is expensive, he allowed to contract to be loaded with incentives, so it doesnt hurt the cap as much.

He has been in the league twice as long as carr. Manning broke his jaw and only missed one snap. that is bad ass. You can call him a pussy all you want, but playing with a broken jaw is pretty damn hardcore.

There would be no way to keep about half of this team together after a year.
