Unvetted wide open border with record illegal immigration. Dont tell me Trump killed the bill, that bill was bullshit and kept the border open and the added resources just processed more people in legally.
Men playing against woman in sports, even if it is rare, it is fundamentally wrong for an even playing field. And even if it was even on the field, the fact that there are men with dicks in the locker rooms at collages is not right.
I am not anti electric cars, but mandating for all electric cars in the new future will not work for everyone.
Mandating the vaccine pissed a lot of people off.
Calling everything racist just grinded on people. When epople started saying climate change was due to racism....

None of these items (minus the border) are not individually huge, but when they are all combined, that obviously left enough people feeling that the direction the US was heading was not correct.

This lead to a landslide victory for all of us uneducated Trump followers.

Thanks for spelling out your concerns. I appreciate it.

I've edited my earlier comment below to give a quick reply to my thoughts on your comments.

If we could get enough people processed legally we'd be far more able to monitor the illegal crossings. You have to start somewhere. And the most logical place to start is getting people who could cross legally wanting to cross legally.

This makes the enforcement portion much easier. You're right, if that is the intent, I wish that they would actually explain it that way.

However, again I don't think either side actually wants to resolve this issue. And this is why we don't get better descriptions of proposed policies. Both sides get far too much financial backing to allow it.

Or, maybe, as a wise man once said, it is just incompetence...

I agree. Natural Born Men should not be competing against women unless it is a unisex event. All events should have an option for naturally born females if there are enough interested to field a competition.

I don't particularly care about the locker room issue. I think there should be private restrooms and private showers. This seems like a non-issue to me.

I feel like trying to force naturally born females to compete against people who aren't naturally born females is the biggest problem here, and I agree I think it turned off a lot of people. I think it costed Democrats a lot of votes.

I think that electric cars can work in nearly any non-industrial application now, and all applications in the future. Even if some of those electric cars were to be fitted with a generator for extended use.

Making laws requiring the manufacturer of low emission vehicles I think is not a problem at all. There will always be used vehicles that can be purchased during the transition.

I think this is a wedge issue that the right has clung to for the simple purpose of riling people up.
The vaccine wasn't mandated. They're simply wasn't a restriction on allowing employers to mandate vaccines.

This is also a nothing burger in my opinion. I don't think that we should make decisions like that based on political reasoning.

If employers or businesses require recommended and safe vaccinations, that is up to the business. You should not be allowed to force yourself into a situation where you are at increased risk of infecting another person. Any more than naturally born females should be forced to compete against people who aren't naturally born females.

I don't care if it pisses people off. But you're right, I believe that the Republicans took advantage of this. And I see them as evil for doing so.
I'm not sure about the people claiming climate change is due to racism, but climate change is definitely real. It is definitely man caused. This is not opinion. This is scientific fact. Our actions are exacerbating climate change.

I'm not going to ask for a link, because you have already indicated that you aren't interested in going there. However, the claim that climate change is due to racism honestly just sounds like a Republican talking point to me. Another evil one.

Again, I wish Democrats would explain these things better. I'm not a registered Democrat and I wouldn't want to be in a position of defending them. The reality is I don't think they want these issues resolved any more than I think Republicans actually want them solved.

I do think Republican policies are far more harmful than Democrat.

Yes I am not anti immigration, but they choose to not monitor it at all and just let anybody who wanted in to be let in.
And then when people found out that they were actually flying other immigrants in on planes to different locations people werent happy.
They of course denied they were flying immigrants in, and then later it was proven and they admitted that this was one of this admins policies.

They just kept doing things that most of the US did not agree with, and the voters decided enough was enough

It's not rare because is happened ... again?

You know, though, I'm glad you replied while I was at church, because I wanted to ask you something about this.

You talk about your reasoning behind denigrating 1.6 million Americans because of "men playing girls sports" (actually happened a handful of times) and "men using girls bathrooms" (which displays a high degree of ignorance of how things actually are).

So you say you're defending women.

    OK.

Beast, depending on which advocacy site you use, 1 in 5 or 1 in 6 American women have been a victim of rape or attempted rape.

More than 80% of rapes are committed by someone the victim knows.

Family members commit 34% of those.

Dads. Uncles. Friends of parents and siblings. Boyfriends that just won't take no for an answer. Spouses.

Now THAT is a problem. That's a big number and it's probably bigger because we're only going by what's reported.

It created trauma, mistrust, fear, physical injures, unwanted pregnancies.

It's a lot more prevalent than trans people doing this.

So, since your problem with trans people is keeping girls and women safe, I presume THIS is even a bigger issue to you.

What are you doing about it?

I think your last line is a tell.

You're talking about a bunch of things that largely play little part in our everyday lives and people voting for less freedom and less economic growth because you feel treated like you're uneducated.

But earlier in the very same post you talk about Trump not killing a bill that was put forward by some of the most conservative legislators in Congress -- he did kill the bill -- and about an "open border." The border has to be open for proper trade, as the Texas governor discovered pretty quickly. A closed border like you seem to be suggesting will crush our economy.

And the vaccine mandate was an issue because people in the MAGA movement made it an issue. I suspect you got a lot of mandated vaccines since you were little and didn't complain about it. We all got those.

So you don't want to be made to feel uneducated ... in a post where you are actually showing a lack of understanding of issues and then are raging about it.

This is something I can't help. If you want to be informed and educated, information is easier to access today than ever. Inform yourself on these issues rather than getting angry at people like me for actually explaining something you clearly don't want to bother to try to understand and voting against your own interests to "own libs."

Thanks again. I edited my prior response with some of my thoughts.

Again, I do appreciate your efforts to explain your position.

If he responds to your post like he responds to everything else, he won’t do anything about it but whine….and then act like he “owned the libs”. Basic Beast 101……

Maybe that'll offset the increased cost of everyday goods he'll be spending because of tariffs.

Thank you this post made me laugh.
I should have put the word uneducated in green so you knew I was being sarcastic. I thought someone as brilliant as you would have picked up on that.
Trump killed the bill because it still allowed too many people into the US.
A closed border still allows goods to move back and forth, it stops the illegal immigrants from entering by just walking across the border.
Vaccine mandate was an issue because some of us( me included) were threatened with our jobs unless we got the vaccine by a certain date.

Please tell me where I was raging and getting angry in this post....Compared to the violent content some of you Democrats post on this board I am very mellow.

I dont see less freedom under Trump, I definetly see more economic growth under Trump then what Biden did. Maybe we can actually start adding productive jobs and not just making the government bigger since that is where Biden added his jobs. Of course it will be tough to top the 12,000 jobs he added last month (that was sarcasm)

He didn't kill the bill for any good reason other than to stop the Democrats from having a victory and stop them from getting any momentum going into the election. And, it worked wonders.

His policies and choices eroded freedom and will continue to erode freedom even far more so now. As a white man you probably won't notice much of that if you aren't looking outside of your personal bubble.

Woman's rights was a big one, you must have missed it.

He is about to take more of those away

And he is going for LGBTQ rights now.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

So is Vance's. Not stopping him.
