Re: Chad Pennington's still the favorite to be the #1 QB <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>QB Chad Pennington remains the favorite to win the starting job entering training camp, but rookie Kellen Clemens could emerge as the backup.Although the club signed QB Patrick Ramsey to a one-year extension through 2007, his roster spot is hardly guaranteed. Brooks Bollinger is also in the mix.</div>http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/index.ssf?...1940.xml&coll=1
Re: Chad Pennington's still the favorite to be the #1 QB Nothing really shocking there. Basically saying what we all already knew.Im hoping the Depth Chart rounds out as the following.1) Pennington2) Ramsey 3) Clemens (Only plays before Week 9 due to injury, named starter week 9 giving him the bye week to prepare for his first NFL Start).4) Bollinger (I think he has some potential and is still worthy of a roster spot. Only carry 5 recievers or something if you need to but id like to see him on the roster).

Mike Shanahan. Shanahan said last season that he thinks Bolly will be a starter in this league one day. And even though they have Cutler as Plummer's backup, Bollinger > Van Pelt. And even if there isn't room for him in Denver he'll catch on somewhere and end up a stud backup that'll save a team a lot of heartache (like Schaub or Volek).
