POR has a chance. Depends what Trae does. Be good to see him play and see what he’s like.

The biggest question for me is are either of Ant or Ayton going to play? Dramatically lowers our chances. Cautiously optimistic (don't think I've really had optimism for this team in quite some time)

First time in I don't know how long where there seems to be some optimism with respect to the Blazers winning - every prediction so far is a Blazer win. Haven't seen that since, I dunno, several years?

Who are these guys to inspire hope in their fanbase. Trade 'em! No wins! Tanking all the way!

I see you are the predictions game master. Would be so kind and willing to explain how this works?

Prior to game start, you predict the final score. Optionally, you can also predict the top contributor and the starter/bench points.

A player's contribution is calculated as follows:
    Points + Rebounds + (Assists * 1.5) + (Blocks * 1.5) + (Steals * 2) - (Turnovers * 2)
    If a player has 5 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block and 2 turnovers the calculation would be: 5 + 4 + (3*1.5) + (2*2) + (1*1.5) - (2*2) = 5 + 4 + 4.5 + 4 + 1.5 - 4 = 15 contribution points

    Game results are as follows:
    1. Did you pick the correct team to win
    2. What is the total difference between your predicted scores and the actual scores
    3. The difference between the team you picked to win and their actual score

If you picked the Blazers to win 105 to 100 against the Hawks and the final score was Blazers 110, Hawks 107 the results are as follows:
    1. You picked the right team to win
    2. Total difference points (110-105) + (107- 100) = 12 (absolute value is used for the point differential
    3. Picked team differential - 5 (110- 105)

    Cumulative Rankings are as follows:
    1. Average Rank
    2. Average point differential
    3. Average pick differential

To appear in the overall standings, you must have predicted at least 2/3rds of the games in the given time frame and have predicted at least 7 of the last 10 games.

If you started now, it would take a while to appear in the full-season predictions standings but you would immediately appear in the December standings (once we start games in December).
