I'm not going to mention the 3rd team for fear of jinxing the ducks, but we might go into the playoffs already have beaten 3 of the 12 teams.
So this has probably been discussed at length somewhere...could someone that's smarter than me help me understand...is the Big 10 title game...a bad thing? Ohio State gets a week off now so if we lose the Big 10 title game it's uh worst case scenario right and we'll play one more game than them? My brain isn't braining but it doesn't seem quite right.
there has been a lot of talk, by some influential people IIRC, that in an age of 12 team playoffs the conference championship games are an anachronism and should be eliminated
College football is a corporate product that has no need for such cultural traditions. However, eliminating them will kill one of the few remaining traditions of the college football experience. It's just chopping down all the trees lining the sidewalk to widen a street by a lane. Happens all the time, and it's sad every time.
...and another one! As pretty much expected since he was offered, Oregon has flipped Central Catholic HS 2025 4* OT Zac Stascausky from Washington. STOMP
sure...they wouldn't be eliminated before a new round of media contracts begin because they are part of the current deals
