Very talented guy, it's a shame he cant seem to get his head on straight. I might take a trial on him hoping he could turn around his career, but im sure Mangini and Co. wont feel the same way.

Mark Clayton who was drafted 10-11 picks later then Williamson had 20 more catches then Williamson, even small school WR (20 picks later then Williamson) had a couple more grabs then Williamson. So lets not say Williamson is a god, I know you didn't say that but it looks like your overhappy to have him on the Vikings.Anyways, Williams is a good talent but not a 250 pounds. Stay in school!
Speaking of Mark Clayton... this guy's gonna have a huge year. Did you guys see the moves he got? He will do great with McNair.

Still, your right Clayton will do good.

I was just remarking on how i'm really happy that we took him when the popular pick was Mike Williams.

They aren't going to cut him... that's just a threat, to try and show him they mean business (but they really don't and we all know that)

And Rod Mirinelli (sp?) is supposedly a hard ass.Plus, the word on the street is that Mike doesn't fit into Martz's speedy-route running style since he's more of a slow, possession WR like Keyshawn Johnson, Mushin Muhammed, or Larry Fitzgerald. Also, he's 4th on the depth chart. Regardless of where you drafted a guy, a 4th string headcase who shows up late constantly?
Rod Marinelli might make an example out of him, but I doubt it. If the Lions were to cut him, it would hurt them too much in the cap.
If he is cut, I hope to God that the Jets pick him up. we can use a reciever of his type. Well physical type that is. And maybe he can change his attitude if he does get cut, maybe teach him a lesson.

It basically goes against everything the Jets have gone after this past offseason.

I said in my post that he can change his attitude after getting cut and maybe give him a perspective of how many chances he has in his short NFL Career so far, so he would start coming to meetings/practices on time, staying in shape, working hard, etc.If he doesn't, then of course, he is not worth it.
