Would you holdout for a new contract. (Like idiot Deion Branch)I wouldn't, I'd be loyal to my team.. however give me 5 more million dollars, we will be talking.
I would be happy with what I got. Players on hold outs are selfish don't care about winning. I would be glad I made the NFL, and try to win the super bowl.Is Deion Branch seriously on a hold out? I thought that dude was really nice...

He's originally was going to get 1 million and change this year but he thinks he's amazing and he wants 7 million a year. The Pats offered 5 years with 6 million a year. So take it how it is, I just hope Chad Jackson can develop quick or we might be in trouble. Calvin Johnson to New England anyone?
I cant fault a player for going out there and getting himself as much money as possible. I just dont think the Holdout is the right way to go about it. If Branch wanted his money so badly he shouldnt have signed a 5 year deal as a rookie and he could have gotten it in Free Agency this past year. Personally, If I was Branch, I would tell my agent to try and get me the most money he can and just sign whatever that offer is the day before training camp begins.
I can't blame him for wanting more money. His buddy David Givens, who pretty much played behind him at the Pats, just signed for a huge contract with the Titans and all Branch wants is what he deserves. Of course, we might have overpaid a little bit, but we paid what we needed to get the guy we wanted. On the other hand, you can't fault the Pats for not flinching yet since he's still under his rookie contract. That was his decision to sign a 5-year deal.

They need Deion Branch to have any chance to be a playoff team this year because Chad Jackson and Reche Caldwell arent going to get the job done enough, so give him his money.

No matter what you make in the NFL there is a minimum, I believe $500,000 now for a contract. Making that much is a hell of a lot more than people need. What the hell are you going to spend $5 million more on?
