Oh, I have no illusions that Ayton is worth keeping around. Just saying that of all his flaws, rebounding is really not one to point to.

I saw a fan article the other day suggesting Toronto should trade for Ayton, providing us with some youth and a draft pick or two. I'd be all for it.

He still is awfully slow on defense, especially on reversing direction.

    This one?

    https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba...le trade, the,rid of Ayton's massive contract.

Not sure what picks would be involved, but I could get down with this.

Gotta say, Bruce Brown's $23M expiring has to be one of the better trade assets out there. If I were a Raptors fan (paging @speeds), I'd be pretty pissed if they didn't end up using it for something significant.

Rob you keep unless a team offers a FRP. If they do then sure grab the asset. If not then Rob is great to have on the team.

Ayton I just want gone. I'm hoping that at least after the trade deadline we can just have him sit at home the last few months of the year. Would rather have a scrub in his place.

Ayton is on a max contract - I can't imagine Masai considers bringing him in unless we are the one giving up a pick. But who knows, Masai has done some other head scratching moves.

I'd also be happy trading Ayton for someone old and worthless without any picks, which seems much more realistic.

I'd give up a 2nd round pick in that deal.

Hard to explain why Toronto would be wanting a vet right now though. They should be angling for a high draft pick in this draft as well.

That doesn’t mean anything to me. I know what I watched. While he was in the game he was awful. Other players must have picked up his slack.

Crappy game. I thought we would have been more competitive. I think Zubac being back made a huge difference. Just like for us, losing KlingKong has proven to be significant. A large defensive center still has a place in the nba it seems.
