I see teams go 3 and out in that situation all the time. Trying to nurse a lead, so they call conservative runs, which the defense is ready for. Ducks were moving up and down the field all day.

Well at least we won and didn’t lose any players in our extra game that Ohio State doesn’t have to play. Losing while losing players would’ve been a disaster.

 

Winning games like this when anybody who watches them
regularly knows it’s not their best outing. It’s a luxury not many teams can afford. Not their best defensive outing, but the offense picked them up

 

And thats the mark of a championship team!
