He'll get the players their money, but do so in a way that the Jets don't have to pull a Titans ever. If giving a backup QB a 1 year extension for not much money helps save us from being in cap hell 4 years down the road when our picks are in the last years of their contracts, then that's a good idea. (Especially when 2 of them are 1st round picks, and another is a talented QB).
